Email from March 3

This week was quite fun. On Thursday, we put on a Little actitivity. We invited some investigators, recent converts, and less actives to the house of a member. We had a Little activity talking of the Word of Wisdom. We talked about how we can all begin to take better care of our bodies. We had a part of simple exercises that we can do in our home without any weights and the importance of daily exercise. Then we explained about a healthy diet, using DyC 89. As is necessary, we taught about not drinking alcohol, tea, or coffee, not smoking, and avoiding ilegal drugs and addictive substances. A fun Little night. As the activity happened, it was raining. When we ended, it was only sprinkling--a great way to pass the rain if you ask me! (there's a picture of the group attached.)

We had a great opportunity to have a Little service opportunity. We went and tilled ground. It's like in the states, when people put something behind a house to drag and it breaks the ground so that people can plant things. We did that this week, but with big, rusted out hoes. It tore my hands to pieces and it made me super dirty. But it was at the Bishop's house. He wants to plant grass so that we can start having activities there and it'll be pretty. It was super hard work. In these 9 months, my hands have gotten baby soft since I haven't been lifting weights or working at all. (there's a pretty picture attached.)

This week, Satan attacked me hard with a big wave of stress. Luckily, it was at like 10:15, right before bed. That night, I read my Patriarchal Blessing and went and prayed. I prayed and prayed and literally told my Heavenly Father all that I was feeling. That night, I did not sleep well, at all. Satan was attacking me with these feelings. But the next day, I felt such a happiness and aleviation that I just knew it would all be okay. There was a battle that night, and my guarding angels came out victorious. Ever since that night, I've felt a lot better. Things aren't nearly perfect, but I love it.

I'm pretty sure I'm like a profet. But I'll tell you more about it next week if my profecy comes true. We'll see what happens!

P-Day was fun yesterday. As a district, we went to a member's house to watch 17 Miracles. The members ordered us Chinese Food and gave each of us a HUGE piece of super delicious cake. We all left super stuffed. I love how the members just take care of us. 17 Miracles is a good movie, and I didn't cry! hahaha. (a foto of my district is attached.)

Right now, we're about to start teaching someone that's received the missionaries like 8 times before. His wife is a faithful member and so are his children. He's just not. I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm not nervous. I bet he just has doubts or concerns that we'll help him with. This is his time. He's been attending church, he just needs to get baptized. I bet we'll find out soon enough why he hasn't been baptized. The Lord will prepare him to be ready this month, we have faith.

Not much to say, but it was a good week. I'm safe and still have yet to be robbed :)

The Church is true!
