Oops! So, on Wednesday, tomorrow, we have cleaning inspections of our house. My house is filthy. It's not even my fault. I've literally cleaned and cleaned and it doesn't look like I've done anything. But I know how much dirt of gotten rid of and how it used to look. But yesterday, while the last effort of cleaning since it was P-Day, something kind of happened. So, we have a pila, it's like a concrete tub that people use to wash their dishes. There are two faucets to have wáter fill up the tub. These faucets are like 3 inches of super old PVC pipe with a Little metal faucet. Apparently, I used too much forcé and the PVC pipe for one of them just broke in half and the wáter just kept flooding out. It was literally imposible to control it! Oops! Water was falling non-stop until the wáter got cut off at 7 pm. So, i took advantage of the wáter outage when we got home at 9. I stuck a plastic bag up the tub and then sealed it with duct tape. brillant! The wáter was scheduled to come back on at like mid-night. I thought I was well prepared. I was wrong. Sure enough, in the middle of the night, the wáter came back on. The bag and duct tape held it off for a while, but that just made it worse. It built up the forcé in the pipe so that the bag and duct tape mix just shot off of the Wall. The wáter pressure carried the wáter to fall outside of the great pila or tub.Oops! But, after a Little while and the house getting soaked, the wáter calmed down and started falling in the tub again. This morning, a repair man came and took care of it all. Oops! A great Little story, right?
On Satuday, I completed 10 months! I try to look for a celebration whenever I can. I was really talking it up to the members and saying how it was such a great accomplishment. There was a family that I got super excited about it all. They went out and bought a super delicious chocolate cake and so we ate it. I love how the members take care of me. Next party? 15 of Abril, y'all are invited. I'll be celebrating 11 months.
We found a super pilas investigator the other day. She's the sister of someone that used to be an investigator. This old investigator has a Book of Mormon. A couple days ago, she, Luisana, picked up the book and started to read it. She really liked how she felt while Reading it and the story. By some miracle, we found her on Sunday night and taught her with her 12 year old son. They seem super positive and awesome. The Lord really does guide us to those that are prepared to hear the góspel. At times, we find a lot of people that aren't ready, but we've got to keep searching.
Looking back on the week, all I can really remember is what happened yesterday with the wáter faucet (or chorro).
3 Nefi 28: 34-35. I love it!
I'll be better at writing next week!
