Elder Santiago wore out his shoes

These are his new athletic shoes. The old ones are falling apart, so he found some bright colored shoes to play futbol. He's very excited!

His every day walking shoes are also dying. All the walking he does sharing the gospel really affects his soles and soul. Haha! (Get it? Soles of a shoe. Soul in a person.)

Email from Dec 8 2013

On Monday morning, we found out about changes. I'm leaving the area! I've been here for 24 weeks, so it's definitely my time to head out. I really have loved it here in El Caminero. It's amazing to see how much the people trust in the missionaries and really grow attached to them. It'll be hard to say goodbye to the recent converts, investigators, and the friends I've made within the ward, but it's for my good. I'm excited to meet new people and more of Guatemala!

Two super cool experiences happened yesterday.

1) While walking down a street to an appointment, we were talking and just carrying on. Then I felt a super strong impression to knock on a door. It was odd because we weren't knocking any doors, just walking. So, of course, I knocked. The guy said he didn't have any time to listen because he was super busy. I asked if we could help and he gratefuly accepted. He was with his wife, daughter, and 14 year old son trying to lift a huge cabinet to the second floor. But they couldn't take the stairs so they had to lift it from the outside with cables. After a monstrous fight and exertion of energy, we succeeded!  Then they accepted to listen to us. It turned out that we found a FAMILY of 5 baptisms all because we helped them with service, all because I followed the impressions of the Spirit. At the end, they had super good questions. What does it say in the Book of Mormon? Are there sister missionaries? What is the Plan of Salvation for y'all? Oh yea!!

2) The Lord took note that I listened to the Spirit, so decided to bless me again to see if I really was paying attention. While with a recent converts and faithful members, we were talking about Family History. The member had us read DyC 128:15. What a doozey to understand-especially in Spanish (since I've never read it in English). But, he asked me to explain what was happening in this verse. I put DyC 84:85 to the test and treasured up the words of eternal life. I then opened my mouth with no idea what to say. But I started talking and felt an overwhelming of the Spirit. When I had given my part, everybody understood clearly what the scripture was saying and what I said. I love the Spirit!! Two great experiences within 2 hours. Fantastic.

I can't believe that Christmas is in like 2 weeks. Crazy! I'm about to pass the 7 month mark on Sunday. It's going to be a little hard because I'll be entering into a new area and won't be knowing anybody. Hopefully, I'll be going somewhere where the people treat this poor white kid alright. ;)

I have made a study of Satan a little bit this past week. It has been wonderful. It really is a good idea to know exactly how he works to be able to over come him. I think I'll write it out and send it. I don't have to much time right now and I don't have my notes either.

I'll be sending a letter home of Patience. Use it often. I think it will help. With this also, you can type it up and put it on my blog or Facebook or something to help the greater good of mankind.

I really have loved my studies of the scriptures. It's crazy the things I'm learning and what I'm able to apply and what I'm able to remember when teaching. The other day, I made a good study of Alma 32. I. Love. This. Chapter. Especially verses 13-16 and 27-29 and 40-end. Read the chapter, it's good stuff.

I hope all is going well with the reading of the Book of Mormon. I hope all is going well with introducing non-members to the missionaries (you've got 15 days to do so). I hope all is going well with prayers every night. I hope that we're putting our best foot forward in attending church.

The Church is true. Jesus is the Christ. He lives.

Email from Dec 1

I definitely forgot all about Thanksgiving this year. Oops. But it's what happens when your living in Guate, with a Latino companion, in a hot climate, and nobody else celebrating it. But, I'm not even sad that I missed it. I wouldn't have changed my normal diet of a tortilla filled with refried black beans, rice, and hot dogs fried on the oven top like a quesadilla. Yummm.

On P-Day, we get up at 6 like usual. Exercise, study, then leave. We drop off our clothes with the lady that washes them, then we head into town. We go to the church and play soccer from like 11-1. Then we go eat (like Pizza Hut or a burger place), then we go to the store to buy groceries. Then we return home at about 3. At 3, I write the letters I need to write, shower, clean some part of the apartment (either the kitchen or my bathroom). At 5, we leave to work like any normal day. There isn't much changing in what I do on P-Day. Playing soccer and buying groceries.

I can't believe that Alicia is Pregnant! That's so crazy! One day, you'll have another grand child! And I'll have another niece or nephew. But I won't see the baby until it's like a year old. And I won't see Aubrey again until she's about 3. Crazy. For all I know, Stephanie could have another before i get home...

I wrote a letter to Lauren Boyd and sent it to you. hahah. I couldn't read the address of her house, so please give it to her when you receive it. Thanks.

I'm not too sure what has happened this week, but it got COLD.  One Tuesday, it was a normal, hot day. We were working in short sleeves like normal and not thinking anything of it. Wednesday, after interviews with President Brough, we left to work with short sleeves again. At about 4 in the afternoon, it got super windy. Like crazy. And it got super cold. Really, it got cold-for someone who doesn't like the cold and is out there in short sleeves. This cold continued for about 3 days. But then it just left. And now it's back to being hot and sunny. Not exactly sure what to think. I don't have any sweaters and only have 3 long sleeve shirts..uh oh...

During this week, I'll work at night to write a new letter to y'all, about my studies of patience and humility. It'll be hard because there's a lot of scriptures to review and how to connect them how i want. But when you receive my letter, you can use them as talks if you want to. You'll just have to cite me :) I finally found envelopes to send letters, so I think I'll start sending more home. In them, I'll put spiritual stuff, like what I'm learning in my studies and what not. Things that y'all can use as talks when called upon.

The other day, I put myself to read DyC 27 again. This section is quite interesting. At the beginning it talks about wine and alcohol. Then how the Lord will come to drink wine with Joseph, Adam, John the Baptist, Elijah, Elias, Abraham, James, Peter, John the Beloved, etc. I didn't exactly understand it, but that's not what I want to talk about. Verses 15-18 are the best. The armor of the Lord! There is a list of things that we need to arm ourselves with- 6 to be exact. But it's interesting, the armor of the Lord is to protect us from the fiery darts of the adversary. Of these 6, five things are listed to protect us, from our head to our toes. Only one thing is for the offensive-the Sword of the Spirit. With this sword, we can pierce and overcome whatever trial, difficulty, temptation, etc. that Satan has against us. If we live our lives with this Armor of the Lord, we will receive rest in the life after. In the next life, during our rest, we have the ability to receive a robe of righteousness as it says in 2 Nefi 9:14. There's something about this armor of the Lord that i just love.

It's December. I can't even believe it. Next week, we have changes again. This time, it seems like it's my turn to finally leave this area, El Caminero. So, quite possibly, I'll be having to pack up all of my stuff for the first time since leaving the CCM at the end of June. But, we don't find out what's really happening until the Monday before. So on the 9th of December I'll know and on the 10th and tell yall what's happening.

I appreciate all the prays that y'all send my way. I receive strength from them. I pray that y'all will read your scriptures, say your prayers, attend church happily, and obey all the commandments that the Lord has given. With every commandment, there is a blessing attached-as it says in DyC 130 (I think, I don't have my scriptures in hand to check that reference.) The Lord is bound when we do what he says, but if we don't, we have no promise. Not even one. We must be obedient in all things. Reading is a commandment. Praying is a commandment. Attending church is a commandment. Being obedient to al lthe commandments is a commandment.

Ask me any and all questions. About doctrine (like my opinions and thoughts), about the mission, about whatever! Tell dad to respond to the email I sent to him!

I love y'all alot and pray for y'all always. Stay happy and keep smiling. Remember Mosiah 2:41.

I definitely forgot about Thanksgiving. Did it pass? We don't celebrate it here. We just do what we do any other day. It's not cold at all and it's not even starting to get cold. Christmas will be quite strange unless I'm sent up to the mountains where it's a little colder. I don't feel like it's about to end November. I feel as it could still be August or something. Almost time to call home....

We're not allowed to go to member's houses to have dinner. We have lunch from 1-2. Other than that, we work from 10:30 am until 9 pm. It's fantastic. If I work after my mission like I work now, I will have a good chunk of money.

A funny story while knocking doors. It was about 7 pm, so the sun had gone down. I knocked on a door. A lady called, "Who?" I just said "Hi!" (all this in Spanish). After about 10 seconds, for her to get to the door, she finally opened the little window so she could see who I was. She opened it, saw me, shrieked and jumped. WHY did she get scared? I knocked on the door, did she not expect me to be there? So I gave her a hard time and we laughed quite a bit. It turned out she didn't want to hear our message...That's sad.

Another while contacting. So, I kicked a dog in the face. Sweet! Here, there are a ton of angry dogs just walking the streets without owners and with a ton of diseases, so we can't afford to ever be bitten by them. While out knocking doors, had quite a little panic. I knocked on a door. From about 10 yards a way, a super angry dog came charging at me, barking, showing his teeth. I thought he would stop a few feet away from me, but he didn't. So, I let my reflexes take charge and kicked him straight up in the face. He let out a whine and whimpered away. Elder Hunt: 1 Dog: 0

This past weekend was Stake Conference. It was special. We had a satelite broadcast when President Eyring talked and so did Elder Richard G. Scott. Elder Scott knows Spanish. I didn't know that. It was super cool.

A plea to all members: Remember what Elder M. Russell Ballard said in the last General Conference. Remember, yall sustained the 12 apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators. He gave a commandment. Every member has to introduce the missionaries to one person before Christmas! I can't have my family break this commandment. There are two missionaries out from this family. If y'all want us to have the support from our ward members where we serve, y'all have to complete it. At least, get the addresses from your friends and send the missionaries. Are there missionaries in your ward?

I've had my fair share of struggles these past weeks. This morning, we had interviews with President Brough again. I asked him why I haven't been seeing the success that I supposedly deserve since I've been obedient with exactness and diligent. He says because of the companions I've had. The Lord has put me with companions that he needs to humble, correct, or prepare. In six months, I've had three baptisms-can be a little sad for a missionary here in Central America. For the closing prayer, President Brough prayed that I would start to receive the success that I deserve. So, President Brough thinks that I deserve it, and so do I. But, I must accept the Lord's time. I'm so happy for how the Lord has tried my faith and patience (Mosiah 23:21). In these next two changes combined, there will only be 10 opportunities to be able to rise as a Senior Companion and a list of 22 Elders that he feels are ready to be them. We'll see what happens. If the Lord chooses me, I'll be quite humble and, since it's the Lord's will, I'll be ready. But we'll see what happens. We have changes 11 December, who knows who will go and who will stay and what will happen.

Just so yall know, I'm pretty much writing talks about humility and patience. The past week, I spent one hour every day studying Patience. This week, I'll be spending one hour a day studying Humility. Next week, I'll write down stuff and send it out in a letter. You'll be free to use whatever you want in talks. You just have to cite me ;)

Read the Book of Mormon. Remember John 5:39. Study the scriptures because in them, you'll find eternal life. Heaven won't be happy if I won't see y'all there! We want to reach Eternal Life. It's a gift from God- DyC 14:7.

I love y'all. The church is true. Christ wants to forgive us of our sins, so we must repent! Jesus is the Christ and He lives.

Pictures from Antigua and his 6 month celebration

Before digging in to their food

Getting the ties ready to burn

Set them on fire!

Artistic photo of the ties burning

Email from Nov 17

This Past week, we went to a place of Guatemala called Antigua! I can't really say Antigua! without the exclammation mark. It was awesome. It was a good little time to relax a little bit and enjoy Guatemala. We went to a restaurante called Monoloco, or Crazy Monkey. We ordered a HUGE plate of nachos to share between the two of us. Chris would have loved them, because I know I did. In Antigua, we saw a ton of white people. I was excited to go up and talk to them in English. But really, where are they from? FRANCE! I want a BoM in French-to learn a little bit again. They were super funny. And clearly looked like Europeans.

Also, I celebrated 6 months! So, what did we do? We burned ties and ate pizza! I attached pictures and tried a little video of this but the video didn't send, just the pictures. It was super fun. We got through about 4 ties or so. Awesome! It's been a hard 6 months. Sure, I haven't had the most success with baptisms and what not. But I've had the most success with changing my thoughts and personality. I really have developed patience, humility, and charity. I rely more on the Lord now than I ever had in the past. In these 6 months, I've been in the CCM, went through training, had emergency changes and received a really hard companion. It feels like I just started. These next 18 months will be a blur.

This past week, we taught a Pastor! While out knocking doors, we saw this man working outside of a church. We didn't expect to contact him, because he was busy. But as we walked by, he stopped us to talk. He asked me where I'm from and when he found out I'm from the States, he just gave me a hug! Before I even knew his name. We then proceeded to talk to him. He invited us into his church and asked to hear our message. He is super nice. He didn't even want to Bible Bash--thank goodness, I hate having to put these people in their place, but I've got to do it. One day we'll stop by again to see if he read the pamphlet and prayed about it. Interesting.

What's the way to make hard boiled eggs? Do I make the water boil first? How much time in the hot water? I know it's super simple, that's why I want to do it.

Companionship Inventories. Where companions talk openly and freely about everything. They're super hard. If it was up to Elder Gomez, we would never have them. But, we're supposed to. This past Sunday, the Spirit prompted me hardcore to have a companionship inventory with him. My heart started to beat super fast and I got quite nervous. But once I started to talk, I settled down and we were really able to discuss the things that needed to be discussed. We went for about 35 minutes discussing these things--that's a long time. But it was good for us.

Read the Book of Mormon. Everyday. I challenge people to do it, and I need to know that my family is doing it also. Pray always. Continue to grow and grow in your knowledge of the the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Share the gospel with friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Be awesome.

My companion and I are getting better. Now we only fight like once every 2 or 3 days. Little by little, we're getting better. Thanks to this experience, I've been becoming the best missionary. Like Nefi in 2 Nefi 4, I'm starting to abhor the appearance of sin or disobedience. Right now, I just can't bring myself to be disobedient. Like the other day, My alarm went off at 5:52 like always. He never hears it (or if he does, doesn't do anything). I could have just rolled over and gone back to sleep, but my conscience wouldn't let me. So at 5:53, I leaped out of bed and prayed asking forgiveness for the thoughts to break a rule of sleeping past 6:30. It's beautiful. I love being obedient with exactness.

As a couple, whoever is reading this, read Doctrina y Convenions 132. Read it together, as a couple. And just realize how great and perfect is the plan of God. Families can be together forever. I'm so grateful and blessed that mine, thankful to the sealing powers of the priesthood in the temple, will be together forever. I look forward to the day when I will enter into the holy temple with my future wife. One day quite far from now, but one day.

Also, a scripture that has motivated me as a missionary this week Mosiah 28:3. It encourages me to talk to everyone that I see! This can also be applied to those of you that are members and not missionaries, talk to your friends about the church! Invite them to your house to have dinner and invite the missionaries too! These are your friends, neighbors, and colleagues! Do you desire that they perish and dwindle in unbelief like the Lamanites of old? I would hope not. Share the Gospel.

This past week, I had a great experience. I don't like to compare myself to Prophet Thomas S. Monson, but I have to do it. We were in a Family Home Evening with a family of Recent Converts. There's an 8 year old child. He began to copy everything I did. When I moved my foot, he moved his. When I moved my hands, he moved his. When I coughed, he coughed. I instantly thought of the story of President Monson when the same thing was happening with him and a little kid when he was on the stand and the little kid in the front row. So, what did President Monson do? He wiggled his ears and the child gave up. Thinking of this story, what did I do? I started to raise just one eyebrow and make my eyebrows dance. He couldn't do it. He burst into laughter and ran out of the room. He returned after a short span with his face red. Elder Hunt: 1 Victor Ajcuc: 0. Victory was mine.

I love yall a lot. The church is true. This is the Lord's work. The work of the Lord will never be frustrated. The work of man, yes. Joseph Smith was a prophet and Thomas Spencer Monson is a prohet of God.

Love yall!

Email from Nov 3

The situation with the companion hasn't gotten any easier. Presidente Brough told me that, if I want, I can invite Presidente Brough over to have a Companionship Inventory and also Companionship Study. I want to take him up on it because it would be insanely awesome to have Companionship Study with Presidente Brough, but I don't think it'd be necessary. (Today we found out that like the 28th of this month, we'll have interviews again!). But anyway, on Sunday, Elder Gomez and I got in quite a big argument.

You know your Spanish is getting good when you can yell and argue with your companion in Spanish and you can defeat him. It's fantastic. Also, because when we argue, it's because I'm correcting disobedience. (But my Spanish is improving every day!) This time was about using the phone and sending text messages. He gets really offended when I correct disobedience, but I've got to do it-it's my responsability.

Right now, we're on Divisions with the Zone Leaders. I'm with an Elder Flores. We're just starting, so we have yet to have experiences.

I hope yall are all reading the Book of Mormon. As of lately, I've been reading DyC. It's fantastic. Right now, I'm at about 31 and have loved it until now. The Book of Mormon is true, and I have the privelege to testify of it at all times.

We have a baptism prepared and ready for this Sunday. His name is Jose Castro (if anyone wanted to mention him in their prayers). He's 13 and the brother of a recent convert of mine-Jaquelin Castro. He's super awesome and super excited to be baptized this Sunday. Before we officially taught him anything, he told us he wanted to be baptized because he's seen a change for the better in his sister. Also, Jose wants to be a missionary when he's older. How awesome!!! His trial-overcoming his friends that give him grief of the decisions he's making. But he's good to go for baptism this Sunday. It's hard to baptize here in El Caminero, but we're not giving up the hope or faith.

During these difficult times, I've found great comfort and peace in the beginning words of DyC 121 and all of 122. There is real power in the Scriptures. They are the words of God, so, if we are praying and worthy, He will talk to us through the scriptures. It's hard for me to remember what's been happening here in the past week. I just know it's all hard and I'm suffering a little. But, as it says in the scriptures, I must give thanks in all things (as it says in DyC 98) and suffer with patience and rejoice even! How crazy, to rejoice in affliction, but it must be done.

I would appreciate it if all of you members could write me a letter where you bear your testimony. And you nonmembers, invite the missionaries to your home at least one time so that you can know a little bit of what I'm sharing. At least once! Members, help the missionaries!! As President Monson said, now is the time that the missionaries and members work together! Mom and Dad, open the house up for a Family Home Evening with less actives or recent converts or investigators! Tell the missionaries that yall are willing and wanting to help in the work.

I love Guate! I can't talk English. The closest I can get is talking Spanglish. I want only Latino companions. I want to forget English and struggle when I get home and give my homecoming. Guatemala is the best place on Earth. It's not the safest, not the cleanest, not the most advanced, but that's not important. I've never found more humble people. I love Spanish. I LOVE GUATEMALA!!!

I love y'all. Stay safe. Remember who you are and what you stand for!

--Elder Hunt

By the way, Halloween doesn't exist here in Guate..at least not in El Caminero. It was a normal day. How sad. These kids have no idea what their missing! Not in America...

Email from Oct 27

We found out changes yesterday (monday) in the morning. We don't have changes!.... That means I'll enter my fourth change here in El Caminero. That's hard. I feel like I've knocked every door. But there are people here that I have to find and teach, so that's why I'm here. Now to work and find them. What's even harder? I'm still with Elder Gomez..These past four weeks have literally been the hardest of my life. I'm definitely feeling just like been. I'm sitting here, with my 'wicked companion' as they say in the mish. I've literally been working SOLO for these past 4 weeks. It's incredibly hard. I plan at night. I lead where we go. I make EVERY decision that has to be made. I do everything here and he just follows. It's so hard. You're prayers for this would be greatly appreciated. I literally pour my heart out to my Father in Heaven and at times it feels like He's not hearing me. I know he's always here and blessing me, that's why i've been able to tolerate it. I would just like some support from my companion.
He is my companion after all. But i'll focus on bettering myself. I'm here as a Representative of Jesus Christ. I can't afford to get upset or unfocused. There are plenty of stories and experiences of my difficulties with Elder Gomez, if you want to know them, ask me after the mission.. :)

Yesterday, for P-day, we played soccer with some young men in the ward and other missionaries. It was fantastic. I'll include pictures. I can safely say that I hold my own out there on the basketball-sized court soccer field of concrete. I might even able to say that I play better than some of these Latinos! A Gringo out teaching these Latinos how to play a little futbol! It's good stuff. I need to start playing like every P-Day.

We've got people here in my area that really are progressing quite nicely. One, had interaction with the church because his sister is a recent convert of mine(Jaquelin). Before we officially taught him the first time, he had attended quite a few Family Home Evenings in the church, and so he told us (remember without ever being taught lesson 1) 'I want to be baptized. What do I have to do to be baptized?' So, he's a sure baptism for the 10th of November! What a great blessing and tender mercy of the Lord. His name is Jose Castro and he's 13.

This past week, we went on divisions several times. We split with jovenes twice and we had splits with our District Leader also. Having them with the district leader was fun because I got to go with his companion to his area. So I was able to see new stuff and what not. Going with the Jovenes is fun because their jovenes. I don't really know what to say. Frequently, I'm frustrated. This is hard
and I'm struggling. But I'm surviving! President Brough said to me in this email in response to my question about what he told me after Zone Conference. He said that it'll shortly be made clear what he meant. I'm excited. I didn't want my mission to be easy. I'm glad to be in leader ship positions early. It's drawn me so much closer to the Lord and has humbled
me so much.

I love the mission. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

With love,

Elder Hunt

Email from Oct 21

So, I received pouch mail this past week. I received more than 10 things. From anyone ranging from Reagan O'Reilly to Donna Sumrall to Dad to friends to other family. It has given me a lot to do. I need you to ask Sara and Reagan how they want me to reply to them. If they want handwritten letters, then I need their address. If they want me to respond in email, I need their email addresses. I'm willing to do either of the two.

What's happened with me? Well, not too much, but some stuff pretty significant.

My week ranges from Zone Conference to a lady that had a dream about us the night before to a miracle baptism (yes, I will probably use miracle baptism to describe all my baptisms).

1-Zone Conference. It was Thursday. It was awesome. For the first half, we practiced teaching to different missionaries with different situations and in different time limits. It was awesome, Elder Gomez and I rocked it. Also, President said something quite small but answered a question I had. Why Christ says that He's God when really the Father is God. He said to make sure to always distinguish God the Father and God the Son. Boom. There's my answer. He doesn't know what answered my question because he did it so smoothly. Then, we had lunch. Then we received cell phones. There are only two zones in ALL OF CENTRAL AMERICA with cell phones and I happen to be one of the two. And the other is also in Guate Central Mish. Then, President Brough talked to us. He talked to us about Angels. I will write down what exactly he said and send it in a letter-it'll have scripture references and everything. Perhaps Dad will want to use it in a talk sometime. At the end, I went up to President to say thanks and what not. But it wasn't that simple. He pulled me to the side a little. He told me that I'm doing a great job with Elder Gomez. He said, 'The Lord is going to use you in great ways these two years if you let Him. I'm going to try one more thing with you before I make you Senior Companion.' Oh boy, what's going to happen now? We have changes next week, October 30th, so we'll see what happens! I'm excited and anxious. I love the mission.

2- We went and worked one day with a Joven. We knocked on a door and a lady named Angela answered. Usually, if it's just the lady, I don't ask to enter. But this time I asked and she accepted. So we taught her and the Spirit was super strong. She told us at the end that she had a dream the night before of 3 people (not just two missionaries but also this joven) coming and sharing this message. How awesome! She had a dream that we'd come teach here!! This Joven was as excited as I was when we left. I think she'll progress once we can find her family there also. Pilas!

3-Baptism!! We baptized a guy name Lazaro Hernandez. We contacted him way back on the 7th of July. I, by my self, taught him lesson 1 in the back of a pick up truck on the way to church, while Elder Aragon sat comfortably inside the cab. It was good. We thought this Lazaro would be a miracle and be baptized in three Sundays, but he failed his baptismal interview. Then he fell off the face of the earth. We found him again about 3 weeks back and we starting being awesome again! He passed his baptismal interview and was baptized this past Sunday! I was able to see his whole miraculous process.

I love yall and I know the church is true. I pray for yall every day. That yall will read the scriptures, that yall will say your prayers, and that yall will come closer to Christ.

Keep on doing what you're doing and I'll keep on doing what I'm doing. The time will fly. I hardly have any time left out here. It goes by fast

I love yall!!

--Elder Hunt

Here are the pictures from Brother Hernandez's baptism! Way to go Elder Santiago for his help in bringing another soul unto Christ!

“And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!” (D&C 18:15–16).

Baptism of Alejandro pictures

Email from Oct 13

Being with Elder Gomez is better than just ok. Things are fantastic here. We're working hard and being obedient, so that we're worthy of miracles. We're always laughing and happy, so that helps with our unity as a companionship. During language study with Elder Gomez, I realize how strange English is. For example, the world produce. If you emphasize the o like prOduce, it's fruits and veggies. but if you emphasize the u like prodUce, it's like a verb. strange.

I finished the Book of Mormon for the first time in Spanish!!! Now I'm starting again, but I'm not just going to read, I'm going to study it a little further and use the cross references and have some fun. But I want to know how yall's reading of the BoM is going. So, are yall reading?

I'm here to remind yall what the profets and apostles said. You guys have to introduce the missionaries to a friend, neighbor, family member, or someone that's not a member before Christmas! As the family of two missionaries, you have to complete this challenge of the living day profets and apostles!!

Had a baptism this past Sunday! His name is Alejandro Lopez. I contacted him a while back on the BUS! And I was able to see him change from a bus contact to a progressing investigator to a baptism and soon to be confirmation (this Sunday). It literally has been amazing. We had ups and downs, but hey, it all worked out in the end! And on Sunday, we found out the Presidente Brough was going to attend the baptismal service of the Secretaries (in our ward). What a miracle that we had a baptism that same day and time, so he could see us also. But Presidente Brough said a few words at the baptism, so that was really cool. Also, we had a recent convert, Jaquelin (baptized the 15 of Septiembre) talk and bear testimony. It was super powerful. She's going to be a great member of the church. After the baptismal service, Presidente Brough talked to her about serving a mission. The service of Alejandro was great. It's why we're here, to baptize and bring people to Christ.

Today exactly is my 5 month anniversary!! Wow, I can't believe it's already been 5 months! The time really does just fly by. Just about a year and a half left, crazy!

We've got a family of 5 (three baptisms) that is progressing nicely to be baptized on the 27th. We just need to get the mom and dad married, which shouldn't be too hard. The only reason they aren't married now is because they just haven't done it. So with our help, we'll get them married. And in a year, sealled in the temple for all time and eternity.

We're hoping, working, and praying for a baptism this Sunday. His name is Lasaro and he's got the attendances to church needed and we've taught him everything. We've had to take the approach of teaching him as though a child could understand. It's been difficult, but a great experience.

We had a really great experience contacting. On Friday, we contacted an Hermana. She told us to come back on Saturday when her husband and children would be in the house. So, of course, we wouldn't miss the opportunity to teach a family, so we returned Saturday. But, of course, they weren't there. But a daughter answered the door, about 25 or so. We asked if her family was there, she said no. we asked if we could share the message with her. She then continued to lift her arm as if to look at her wrist at her watch. But she had no watch on. She then stared at her wrist for a good 10 seconds, and replied to us. 'Uhh, I have someone here visiting.' 1. You need to look at your watch to remember that you have someone visiting? 2. I almost asked, ALMOST, 'Hermana, what time is it?' But I didn't. Elder Gomez and I continued to laugh for this moment for a good 10 minutes. And even to this day, when one of us brings it up, we laugh pretty good.

I love it here in Guatemala!! I'm safe. I'm healthy. I'm happy.

I love yall!!!

Recent Pictures from Elder Santiago

The sign says, "We sell wood, injections, and IV's. All hours of the day."
I wouldn't trust them!!!

This sign in his neighborhood makes Elder Santiago laugh multiple times a day.

Email from Oct 6

There's not too much to say this week. It was a normal week in the field. We contacted more than 500 people, so things kind of blur together.

Conference was this past weekend!! It was fantastic. General Conference is like Christmas for Missionaries. On Saturday, we only taught one lesson, because we had 6 hours of General Conference to attend and the Stake Center is far from my area. So we just went around contacting all the members- ended the day with more than 130 contacts. I can't even begin to tell you some stuff I learned from Conference. Just going to say two things about it.

1) there are more than 15,000,000 members in the church. Every member has a challenge from the living profets and apostles to introduce the missionaries to at least one person before Christmas. So you have to complete this challenge! If you want me to find the people ready for the Gospel in Guatemala, you have to do the missionary work at home too.

2) a quote from Jeffrey R. Holland. it's mas o menos 'If the bitter cup doesn't pass from before you, drink it, and be strong.' Wow. When he said this, what power! Life will not be easy, but that never means we give up. We take what life gives us and we are always, ALWAYS, strong in the faith of our God and our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

My companion is Elder Gomez. He's actually been awesome. He came into this change knowing that I wouldn't accept any form of disobedience, neither would Presidente Brough, neither would the Lord. So, the only thing we've been working on really, is getting him to walk faster. You guys would be astonished by how fast I walk right now. When I walk with some people, they literally have to jog beside me. There is Urgency in the Work!!! But other than that, there are some little things, but not many. We correct things and go on. Mainly, the way I've corrected him is by my example. I'm not one to be confrontational, but i have been leading by example. Presidente Brough responds to  my emails every week (he doesn't for other missionaries). This week he said something that made me smile. 'I have absolutely perfect confidence in Elder Hunt. Wow, I love Presidente Brough.

We have about 7 or 8 people progressing nicely for baptisms now. It's awesome. I'll give a list of names just in case someone wants to pray by name for them. Alejandro Lopez; Junior and Maria and their family; Wilder Alvarado; Lasaro Hernandez; Blanca Morales; Daniela and Cindy Monterosso. We are hoping and praying to reach our goal of 6 baptisms this month. Our purpose as missionaries is to baptize. We find to baptize. We teach to baptize. We work faithfully, diligently, and obediently...to baptize.

I love my drunk people here in Guatemala. They make my mission quite a bit more exciting. On Saturday, we were waiting for a bus to take us back to the Stake Center- 8 missionaries total, 2 NorteAmericanos. Then this drunk guy started walking up to us. Usually, they come up asking for money or asking for us to save their souls. This guy was different. He saw me and the other Norte and came up to us. He started to ask us to fight him. Why, we ask. The only reason is that because we're Gringos. hahaha. We kept denying. He was like, yall are so much bigger than me, fight me. fight me. fight me. hahah. I really wanted just to push him over because he was super unsteady on his fight--thanks to the alcohol- but I didn't. We just left.

This week has not been easy. I received Elder Suarez 3 weeks ago. After two weeks, when we started to work with good flow and when he started to know the area, he had to leave and I had to receive a missionary that isn't exactly obedient--but he is now. So I've had to introduce Elder Gomez to all the people and the area. After just having done so! It's not easy to be a missionary a part of Emregency Changes.

About my Spanish? Here's a little story. The first day, I asked Elder Gomez how much time he has out in the mission. He said 14 months. Then he asked me. When I said 4, he was shocked. I asked why he was shocked. He said he would have guessed 10 months based on my Spanish!! Yea! I talk like someone that's been here almost a year! Walking into the CCM with zero Spanish, and progressing to where I am now. In reality, I'm forgetting how to talk English. I can write and type English, but speaking is hard.

But I love yall!!! Guatemala is crazy! I love it so much! I pass 5 months this next week and I can't believe it. I'm getting old. Time is so fast out here serving the Lord.

Email from Sept 30

We're having a little bit of struggles with the baptisms. I've only had 1 so far, but i'm not worried about the numbers too much. Just focused on working hard and serving the Lord.

President Brough called us this morning!!! We were praying, so we couldn't answer the phone. Then once the phone died, he called right back!! We were scared to answer. And we got some pretty interesting news. Elder Suarez answered. President asked to talk to me. UH OH!!! He asked me how I am and what not. Asked how is Elder Suarez. Then we cut the small talk. 'Elder Hunt,' he said, 'I'm about to but a grand responsability upon your shoulders. This won't be easy, but you'll be able to do it.' First off, I think Welp, I'm about to be a trainer this next change after only 5 months, but no. something different. Perhaps even a little harder. He continued, 'we need to have an emergency change of your companionship. We have a district leader (in an other area) that hasn't been the most obedient. I need you to help him.' He went on to say how yesterday, for P-day, they went and got haircuts after 5 (we start working at 5) and how they wore street clothes all day (only missioanry attire!). So this District Leader is being taken from District Leader and being put here with me. He won't be Senior Companion, we'll be equals. This will be hard. At minimum, he'll have one year, more than likely, closer to 18 months. He's going to be super discouraged to be put with a Norte that only has 4 months out here. My companion, Elder Suarez, will replace this missionary as District Leader. Elder Suarez, after 8 months, has raised up to District Leader. Welp, looks like I'm receiving the wicked companion I was worried about for this past change. This is going to be a crazy week. Prayers would be appreciated!!

So excited for General Conference!! We'll leave my home at like 8 in the morning and return at like 9 at night on Saturday. We won't have any time to work and teach people. But I'll be at General Conference, so it's ok. I'm so excited!!!! We'll be listening to profets and apostles in these days!

Had a door contact get quite offended this past week, and I'm not sure exactly why. I contacted her. All I said was, '¿Como esta, Hermana?' Then she got offended. Why did you call me Hermana? Because we are children of God. No, we are not His children until we accept Him in our corazon. No Hermana, we are children of our loving Heavenly Father. Then I gave a little testimony. Then we left. Bless her heart, really.

Well, people are convinced we're profets. I love it. We taught this super old couple that hardly knew what was happening. We asked, after teaching what a profet is, 'what, in your own words, is a profet?' They answered, 'Yall'. Aye, not quite. Then there was this Hermana that we taught. At the end, during her prayer, she thanked heavenly father for having sent these two profets to her home. People do not understand what a profet is even after we give examples and explain thoroughly and simply. I'm quite flattered, really. To be compared to someone like Moises, Joseph Smith, or Thomas S. Monson.

Taught a super awesome lesson this past week. It was about 7 in the evening and we met a member's house, so we could get a ride to this person's house. We went quite the drive until we arrived at a residency like West Lake. These houses were huge. Apparently, the husband works for the government, but he wasn't there. So we just taught the wife. It was such a super powerful lesson. She was understanding everything and feeling the Spirit super strong. But, we found out the next day, that she doesn't live in our area. So she can't be counted as our baptism. But she's just about as sure as it gets after a first lesson. We'll meet with her again in the member's house here in our area, so it won't be a problem. But her name's Michelle. It's kind of sad that we can't continue to teach her and have her progress to baptism. But it is what it is!

My goal is to finish the Book of Mormon this week! Right now, I'm in Mormon 8. So close! I can't believe the progress I've made in the Book of Mormon. I remember when I would read like 1 chapter a day struggling, and now i can read about 4 without too much of a struggle.

I love yall so much! Life sounds great in the States. I'll be back before I know it. Time is so incredibly fast out here. I'm about to complete 5 months here in a little bit. Ahhh, I almost can't handle it. I love the life I'm living. I've never been happier.

Email from Sept 22

Wow, this week really has been crazy. Finally got a new companion! Only one other person that entered the mission with me had the same trainer for all three months. Just me and him. Everybody else got changed after 6 weeks. So it really is quite nice to have a change here. My new companion. Elder Suarez. Latino!! (answer to my prayers). From Honduras. About the complete 8 months in the mission (we're both so young out here in the mission, i just finished 4!). He's super excited about the work here in his new area, and this excitement has rubbed off on me. We're talking to people like crazy, and we feel like we're finding people that will progress (finally!). He's Senior Companion, but you wouldn't be able to tell. It's his first time, so he's not sure what's happening. I'm the one that does the planning the night before, so I decide where we're going, who we're visiting, and what we're teaching. In reality, I'm the Senior Companion, but he just has the title. Which, really, is fine by me. But since I received a new companion here, I think I'll be leaving the area in the next change! (last Wednesday in Octubre.) I'll send a picture next week. I've been really bad about taking pictures. I'm going to take my camera with us when we go work so you can see what I see. I'm just a little worried, because it rains unexpectantly. But I'll cover it good with plastic bags, so it won't be a problem.

The craziest thing happened a couple days ago. In reality, I'm kind of a little worried to tell this to my mother, but it's my life here in Guatemala! Here it goes: So, here in Guatemala, we use the public bus system to get around. It's not the safest, quite sketch, actually. But it's the most efficient option we have. So it was about 8:15 one night, and we were taking a bus back to our area to finish the day. My part of town is quite safe, never have had problems around our house. But these buses are full of people, so we're able to contact a lot. (going around seat to seat, introducing ourselves, presenting the purpose of our message, and asking for the address so we can visit them). So I'm at the back of the bus talking to the people, nothing strange whatsoever. Then, what do I hear? THREE GUNSHOTS!!! It was about 5 yards away from me, right behind the bus (not in the bus). So of course, i turned my head to look what was happening, because I just thought their were someone with fireworks or something--nothing out of the ordinary. But what I really saw was something disturbing and unforgettable. The bus assitant, the guy that takes the money and helps people on and off the bus, laying dead in his own blood. And I saw it. I will never erase this image from my head. Now, I thank Heavenly Father for my life with more sincerity than ever. Things are crazy here in Guatemala. As missionaries, we see people at their very best, like when they decide to make these convenants with God. And we see them at their worst...at least here in Guatemala.

This was easily, the scariest moment of my life. It all happened less than 5 yards from me!!

So, now for a little bit more uplifting stuff!

Hermana Jaquelin was confirmed this past Sunday! Yea! She's going to be an awesome member. We'll baptize her family one by one. Then she'll have so much more support in the home. I'm really excited to see it. Jaquelin's baptism was such a long practice. They contacted her way back in April and she wasn't baptized until the 15th of Septiembre. For some people, it really is quite a long process.

We have a baptismal date for this Sunday. Her name is Daniela. She's 17. She told us straight up this past visit. I want to be baptized. I want to make this big change in my life. I know this is true and it's what I want to do with my life. So, being 17, she's not able to get baptized without her mother's consent. At first, she was like, yea, it won't be a problem. My mom will sign it. Then, this past Sunday, she wasn't able to attend church because she didn't have permission from her mom--just to attend church. If she doesn't have permission to attend church, how is she going to get permission to be baptized. We want to talk to the mom, but she never wants to talk to us. We're praying really hard that her heart will be softened and she'll let her daughter make this choice. If Daniela gets baptized, her sister, Cindy, 24, will also get baptized. So we're praying and working for it.

We have an Hermano Alejandro, that is just about set in stone for baptism, for the 6th of Octubre. He's super awesome and excited to be baptized. What a blessing!

So, thinking of the atonement, a new thought has been in my head. As missionaries, we need to have charity for all others, like the charity Christ had. Let's think about one person especifically to whom Christ showed this charity. How about the guy that drove the stakes through His hands and feet. Christ could have opened His mouth and stopped it all, or condemned this man to hell right then and there. But no, He said nothing. And at the end of it all, He asked the Father to forgive 'them' and, included in 'them' is the man that had to put in the stakes.

Right now I'm in 3 Nefi 12. In the middle of the part where Christ appears here in the Americas. My testimony grows everyday that i read the book of mormon and live the life of a missionary. I know that Christ lives and appeared here in the Americas.

I'm so excited and happy to be a representative of Him here in Guatemala!!!

I love you guys so much!!! I'm safe here in Guatemala. I have angeles surrounding me always on all sides. As long as I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, I won't have any problems. I'm a representative of Jesus Christ, I've never been happier.

Email from Sept 15

This week has been so crazy!!

We had a miracle baptism on Sunday!!! We literally had no plans to have a baptism this change. Zero. But we had this Hermana Jaquelin attend church for the 7th time, but this time with her mom. During the 3rd hour, we decided to invite them to the baptism. She said that they would go. She also said she wanted to be baptized in the next service. We said ok, then we all returned to our respective classes. After talking to other missionaries for a second, we decided to go talk to Jaquelin again. We asked her why wait, we could baptize her today. After a little discussion, she agreed! Then craziness ensued. She went back to her class, and we went to work. The ward literally went crazy for us. We had one Hermana Osorio have to drive to her house and get baptismal clothes. I had to be driven home to get my baptismal clothes. All of this, while Hermana Jaquelin was still being interviewed, we didn't even know if it was certain!! But this interview was crazy. They need to be interviewed by the District Leader. But the DL was out working without his phone, like it's supposed to be. So we couldn't contact him. But luckily, we have the Mission Secretaries in our ward. So we called the Zone Leader, who called Presidente Brough, who gave Elder Diaz (a secretary) permission to conduct the interview. So, everything went crazily awesome and I was able to baptize her. After all this ended, we took Jaquelin and her mom home. At the door, Jaquelin said, 'Looks like my mom will be next.' How awesome is that?!

We have Transfers tomorrow! Elder Aragon is leaving and I'm staying here in Caminero! Which I'm excited about, I feel like we're going to have some success this change coming up. He's excited to leave because he's been here for 6 months! After this change, I will have been here for 4.5. That's crazy. I don't have interviews with the President, so that means I won't be Senior Companion. yea!!

We had divisions this past week, twice. One witht he Zone Leaders (Tuesday until Wednesday) and the other with the District Leader (Thursday until Friday). This made for our week to be super hectic and unorganized. They didn't  call us for these divisions until the night before. But we survived!

We had a really positive contact with one Hermana at her door. I contacted her and said my bit. She was like, 'yea, uh huh, yea.' She was talking how her church has the truth and all that jazz. Then Elder Aragon stepped up, 'so, you're church has apostasy, huh?' And she said, 'Yes, gracias a Dios. My pastor is full of it!' YEA! She had no idea what she was talking about. We literally like laughed right there at the door. Bless her heart.

We taught an awesome guy the other day. At the end, he took the folleto, flipped open to the page where Joseph Smith is receiving the priesthood, and told us what it really meant. These three people represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. But really, their one in the same. And this (Joseph Smith) represents us kneeling before them in humility and asking for forgiveness of our weaknesses. Wow, almost Hermano! So close, really. He was so happy that he thought he knew what was up. He's Pilas.

I was super safe this past weekend. We didn't have any problems or anything. I'm starting to make friends with all the bus people and the people at our favorite little tiendas and bread shops. It's awesome. I'm becoming Chapin!

Well, I love yall lots! I hope yall are reading the Book of Mormon! This is the keystone of our religion so we NEED to know it's true. My testimony grows and grows everyday. I'm so thankful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and think of it in a new way all the time. It truly is beautiful. Use this great gift, and Repent of Sins! and Ask for Strength. (As a missionary, I have to declare repentance to all people)

I love yall so much!! Pray for you always!

Email from Sept 8

My cook was really busy with other things, so she couldn't make us food. But we survived on spaghetti and oatmeal, no problem! But she felt bad about it, so she hasn't missed a day since then. If we can go for lunch, she makes us the food for dinner.

What's up with my cousing Jacob Wells? What's up with my aunt Sara? What's up with your side of the family, mom? I need to return address of the Howse's. I got 3 letters from them, but I have no way to reply to them! I don't have an email address or their home address!

The temple...Where do I begin? Oh, I know. We woke up at 3 am!! We had to get up and study for an hour before we could leave to meet up with people to go to the temple. 3 am! That's pretty early. But we got there no problem. I was with a group of like 8 missionaries. At the distribution center, I went to buy a himnario and a Bible. When I got to the cash register, the lady said that the Stake President is paying for us. Sweet! But the temple temple, was awesome! It was all Spanish (of course), I was able to understand what was happening! Thanks to the few times I went before the mission and in the CCM and that I read the creation story the week before the temple. But I always love the temple. I had the best experience of my life in the temple this past week. It can only be compared to one time in the CCM . I've never had a simple phrase have so much power. 'Be Still And Know That I Am God' from DyC 101:16. It was awesome.

One day for lunch, we had the BEST food. Dad would have been so happy. They were a mix of enchilladas and chimichangas. DELICIOUS. The best tortillas I have ever eaten. The best meal I've had so far here in Guatemala. I could eat it every day!

So, a few days ago, we had the funniest day. It started in the morning while tracting. We taught this one lady that was just dead. Saying 'uh-huh, uh-huh' during the whole thing. After I finished the first vision, Elder Aragon asked a simple question. 'What's the name of the young man that prayed and asked God?' She looked at us, smiled, and with surety said, 'Luis Alfredo!' ¿En Serio, Hermana? We were fighting back laughing. Right then, Elder Aragon said, 'we're going to say a pray to end this.' He offered the prayer and literally laughed during the prayer. We said Amen, shook her hand, then ran away out of her sight. Once we saw we were safe, we both doubled over laughing so hard!! Oh, it was good stuff. 'Luis Alfredo!' Wow, Hermana, ¡Casi! Lovin' Guatemala!!

So the buses here are crazy. For two bus rides, I was 0% in the bus. ZERO! I was on the outside of the bus standing on a little piece of medal that was like 3 inches by 2 inches, only 6 square inches at most! Standing on that and holding on for dear life. He didn't take turns slow or speed bumbs. Funnest ride of my life. The bus was too full for me to enter, because I was letting the women on for safety. It was awesome.

We have an investigator named Jaqueline. She's 18. Her dad has been fighting a lesson for months. Months. This past week, we taught him! Miracle! It was a really good lesson too!

Next week, on the 16th, we find out about Transfers. Already time for transfers again!! That's crazy.

Oh yea, the 15th of September is Independence Day for Guatemala. Please, pray for my safety this weekend. Everybody will be drunk and the drunks love to molest us white folks. I love the mission!

Life's good. I'm safe. I'm happy.

I pray for yall often! I love yall a ton!

¡Se Cuida!

Email from Sept 2

The Two P's are my vices- patience and pride. But right now, I feel more humble than I EVER have before in my life. My whole life I've been prideful, my whole life. Right now, I depend on the Lord for everything...everything! It's truly beautiful and amazing to see the change that has already come to me in these short months that I've been out here. And patience, I've definitely learned that these past couple months. The Lord is helping me and supporting me in all ways. I love it!

Wow, not too much happened this week. Except, we didn't have P-Day yesterday. So I've gone more than a week without p-day. I'm out of food, out of money (zero), and out of energy! But tomorrow is p-day and we're going to the temple!!!!! I'm going to go through the temple in Spanish!!! YEA! It'll be such an awesome experience!

I'm out of food, because we went a whole 4 days without our cook. It is HARD without a cook. So I made a lot of spaghetti and ate a lot of oatmeal (i love oatmeal).

This past week, we went on splits with young men in our ward. Wow. So these two guys speak super fast, slang Spanish. I went with one named Alfredo. He's waiting for his missionary call. So for the whole day, I had to speak straight up Spanish. He knows nothing of English. But we were able to converse and have a good time (at least, I had a good time!)! But I had to answer all questions of investigators and explain any and all doubts and topics. It was a great experience and really showed me how much I've grown these past couple months!

So, we have this investigator named Alejandro. I contacted him on the bus one day. Before we had even taught him, he was helping us. He gave us a ride down to the church one day when he drove by while we were waiting for the bus. He wasn't home for the appointment that we had, but we when we returned to the house, we had a text message on our phone from him apologizing, and the message was completely English. He speaks perfect English, which is awesome!

While out working, I saw this guy. I definitely had to double take. He was wearing a cub scout shirt. This guy was about 25. The shirt was navy blue, had the gold lettering, and an American Flag on the sleeve! I couldn't believe it. It made me laugh.

Speaking of laughing, the funniest moment of the mission happened just yesterday. When we knock doors, a lot of times, kids answer. So we ask, 'esta alguien grande con cual podriamos hablar?' then they go off, return, and say no (definitely lying because when we ask the question, they say yes). Anyway, Elder Aragon knocked on a door. A lady of about 85+ answered the door. Elder Aragon presented us as missionaries and all this good stuff. Then he said, 'esta alguien grande con cual podriamos hablar?' I casually stepped out of view of the sweet, old women and busted out laughing. I was literally doubled over and crying laughing. This lady is 85! Of course nobody there is older than her! But, luckily, the lady didn't hear Elder Aragon. So he corrected himself, and asked what he meant to ask, if her family was there. SO FREAKIN FUNNY!

Well, now I don't have much to share except some spiritual stuff.

I received an Ensign in English from a member, May 2009. It's awesome! My two favorite are 'None were with him' by Elder Holland and 'Counsel to Young Men' by Elder Packer. Read them. (Elder Packer has a quote, 'Never complain about schooling. Always attend.' I need to remember this post-mission.)

Also, I have phrases I need to put on a plaque in my future house, from Alma 41:14. It will say 'Deal Justly, Judge Righteously, and Do Good Continually.' How perfect is that? Alma 36-42 are the perfect chapters of fatherly advice to a son. They really are touching. I love them.

Last night, we had a FHE for investigators at the church. President Camey in the Stake Presidency gave the lesson, about why the church is called what it's called. While he was talking, I came up with my own process. In reality, we can break the title into three parts. 1)The Church of Jesus Christ-He founded it, so it has His name!; refer to 3 Nefi 27:8 2)of Latter-day-as it says in Acts 3:21-22, the church had to be restored before the coming of Christ, or in the last days, that's today! 3)Saints-as members of the church, we are Saints; the purpose of the church is for the perfecting of the Saints! refer to Efesios 4:11-14. This is a great little explaination for those people that ask why the church is called what it is. Also, Dad could maybe host a little FHE at the church with the missionaries, investigators, and recent converts and explain this topic to them. President Camey did a really, really great job though.

So yea, that's my life!

I love you guys so much! I pray for you every day. I'm happier now than I ever have been before, because I'm more humble now than I ever-ever-thought I would be.

Life's good. I'm having fun. Learning a lot.

Se cuida! Divertirse!
